Biography

Writer for Flisolo.com. I was one of the first contributors to the site and it's been great to see the site go from strength to strength with so many interesting articles. It's been an amazing experience!

I'm in my second year of a degree in Journalism and Germanic Studies at the University of Sheffield and I love it! I speak German (well) and Dutch (not quite so well!). I'm originally from Walsall in the West Midlands but I live in Sheffield while I'm studying. I'm moving to Dresden in October to take up a placement working for a German-language youth magazine there which is really exciting- it's definitely going to be a challenge but I can't wait! I'm also going to be doing some freelance work for other German publications. I won't be deserting you though, I'll keep you posted on my Flisolo blog about my adventures. Look out for 'Sauerkraut and the City' coming soon!

I have 12 GCSEs, 3 A levels and NCTJ qualifications in shorthand, Public Affairs and Media Law.

Interests and activities

I like reading, writing, going to gigs, travelling and socialising. I also spend a lot of time in Starbucks, drinking coffee, people watching and writing.

My interests include modern art, world cinema, independent and arthouse cinema, art galleries, poetry, museums, modern history, current affairs, photography, fashion and music.
